We’re back…. Oh yes, WE ARE !!!

Live puppet theatre performances return with a 3 day celebration of puppet fun.  A unique double bill of shows each day – suitable for all the family.

Tickets: £10 each £35 (family of four) per morning or afternoon session. Online booking link at the bottom.  Please be aware that adults will need to wear a face covering, seating will be socially distanced according to the booking groups, all seats will be disinfected between shows.  We will need all adult names and contact phone numbers on the tickets you book (for Track & Trace). The first show of each session will be in the theatre and the second in the marquee.

Wednesday 2nd June (10:30am – 12:30pm OR  2:30pm – 4:30pm)

“Pinocchio” – Clive Chandler and his Puppets.  Based on the classic story, little Pinocchio struggles to do the right thing …and oh dear, the mayhem that ensues …..

Interval with entertainment (refreshment available within the puppet area) – followed by:

“Dangerous Dave” – Noisy Oyster.  Infinitely more “daft” than “dangerous”!  Watch the most mind-bendingly silly stunts ever attempted …

Thursday 3rd June (10:30am – 12:30pm OR 2:30pm – 4:30pm)

“Cardboard Carnival” – Lempen Puppet Theatre.  A musical puppet adventure with cardboard!  The Carnival of Animals, but not as we know it!

Interval with entertainment (refreshment available within the puppet area) – followed by:

“Punch & Judy” – Prof Clive Chandler. Our favourite rascally hand puppet, Mr Punch, revealed in all his naughtiness as a “jolly good felloe”.  That’s the way we do it!

Friday 4th June (10:30am – 12:30pm) OR 2:30pm – 4:30pm)

“Dasilva Circus” (40mins) – Noisy Oyster. Performed with dazzling dexterity this traditional family show is full of the thrill and spilld of a rea-life circus!

Interval with entertainment (refreshment available within the puppet area) – followed by:

“The Fisher and his Wife” (25mins)  – Lempen Puppet Theatre.  A classic Brother Grimm tale, told from a box, mounted on the front of a penny farthing bicycle.
