New Work by Jamie Oldham

Jamie grew up in Cumbria and after living near Bath and exhibiting regularly in many London galleries he decided in 2022 to return to Cumbria and live near the Solway coast.

He loves the work of the landscapists Fred Cumming and Kurt Jackson, but his greatest influence (and greatest teacher) has been his late father, Tom. Upfront had the pleasure of holding a memorable exhibition many years ago which included Jamie, his father Tom Oldham and David William Morris.

Jamie enjoys working in several genres – landscape, still life and bird portraits – with multiple media including acrylics, oils and cold wax.

The work in this exhibition is en plein air or studio work of West Cumbria, the North Lakes and the Solway coast area.
