Her first solo exhibition as a young artist was with us 22 years ago. \n\n\n\nShe recently returned to Cumbria having lived in Scotland for 20 years. Julie has has exhibited nationally and internationally and won numerous awards. She was also on sky arts\, “Landscape artist of the year”. \n\n\n\nJulie’s paintings mainly represent elements of landscapes and scenery she has seen\, loved and remembered\, which are then combined to make one beautiful image. \n\n\n\n“Colour plays the main role in what I create. If I was forced to sum up what I want to express\, I would describe them as dreamlike and nostalgic\, yet contemporary. They speak of memories and the endurance of images. Atmospheric and melancholic\, they are inconsequential moments that are highly charged. As a landscape artist I endeavour to inspire and nurture our love of the natural world”. An amazing experience not to be missed\, suitable for all ages. This unique collection of trick circus marionettes was saved for the nation by a Heritage Lottery Grant. It is one of the largest and most complete puppet circus’s in Europe. You will see clowns\, jugglers\, acrobats\, tight-rope… plus the highlight of the show – Zippo the clown shooting out of a cannon. \n\n\n\nPerformances are at 2:30 on March 29th & 31st. April 1st\, 3rd\, 5th\, 7th\, 10th\, 12th & 14th.The show lasts approximately 1.5 hours\, including an interval in the middle. Photographs are welcome after the show.
