SUMMARY:Puss in Boots
DESCRIPTION:The Upfront Puppet Theatre Christmas production is “Puss in Boots”. The show is based on the original French fairy tale. The father of the family dies and the oldest son inherits the flour mill; the second a donkey and the youngest son\, Marco\, inherits a cat! BUT this is no ordinary cat. Puss has magical qualities that enable him to talk and stand on two legs. His schemes and adventures create a happy ending with Marco becoming a Prince and marrying the Princess. \n\n\n\nThe show uses long string marionettes performed from two puppeteer bridges in the roof of the theatre\, specially composed music\, puppets and scenery constructed in the Upfront workshops. \n\n\n\nThe show is in two halves with an interval in the middle and an after show “meet the puppets & puppeteers\, ask questions\, take photos” following the 2:30 & 3:30 performances. \n\n\n\nPuss in Boots Gallery\n\n\nPuss in BootsPuss in the StreetPuss and WorkmenPuss with the King and MarcoI can do anything\, I can grow really bigI think I heard a wolfOutside the millPuss talks to the ogre at homeThere is a cat outside wearing boots your highnessSo you are just going to have to leave
