DESCRIPTION:A DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS SUPPER EVENING\nFriday 20th December at 7pm \nActor and writer Peter Macqueen will read excerpts from some of the Charles Dickens Christmas stories. Joy\, laughter and perhaps a tear evoked by the mastery of the Dickens pen\, will be brought to life by Mr Macqueen…….and of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without a bit of Humbug!‘A Dickens of a Christmas’ will show Mr Dickens (alias Peter Macqueen)\, revelling in reading some of his Christmas writings\, including excerpts from ‘Pickwick Papers’\, ‘The Story of the Goblins’\, ‘Sketches by Boz’\, ‘Great Expectations’ and of course\, ‘A Christmas Carol’!The evening will begin with a mulled wine reception while Mr Dickens introduces himself. He will then show you into the restaurant to begin your three course supper.
