DESCRIPTION:We are very pleased to have Zion Train playing at Upfront Arts Venue as part of their 30 year live on the road anniversary tour. The band have played festivals and venues across the globe\, clocking up over 2750 shows. They were one of the first acts to pioneer the cross over between Reggae and electronic dance music. \n\n\n\nWatch band leader\, chief sound engineer and music producer Neil Perch as he creates a live dub mix with a super tight brass section and Dubdadda on vocals. \n\n\n\nA purpose built Reggae sound system will be provided by Bass Alliance Sound System and local DJs will be starting and finishing the event. \n\n\n\nTickets£15. Booking fees apply online or by telephone. Book online \n\n\n\nThis is a standing/dancing concert. DESCRIPTION:Concert guitarist and composer Richard Durrant makes a welcome return to Upfront. He will perform solo\, instrumental Durrant originals\, JS Bach and British Folk from his new double album Stringhenge on a guitar made from a 5\,000 year old English Oak tree\, his four string Uffington Tenor Guitar and a humble ukulele. \n\n\n\nThe album Stringhenge was launched last June at St Magnus’s Cathedral in Orkney. Durrant then cycled the length of Britain playing his programme inspired by the British Landscape. \n\n\n\nInterspersed with Richard’s usual wit – expect an evening of exquisite music beautifully played. \n\n\n\nConcert begins at 8pm.
