DESCRIPTION:The production uses a combination of long stringed marionettes performed from our two mobile bridges and rod puppets worked from our puppeteers pit beneath the floor of the stage.The story about a puppet that comes to life and becomes a real boy is known throughout the world. Pinocchio is carved on stage\, comes alive and sets off on his many adventures. He visits a puppet show meeting two clowns\, Harlequin and Pulcinella.  He is tricked by a cat and a fox into burying and losing his newly earned money\, He flies on the back of a pigeon and he is finally chased and swallowed by a huge shark. The magic Blue Fairy helps Pinocchio to learn to be good and at the very end he becomes a real boy.Upfront bring to life this epic tale with their usual style. The production is given great energy by the specially composed music of local musician Bill Lloyd\, making the show a not to be missed Christmas visit. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOWS: December 12\, 13\, 19\, 20\, 21\, 22\, 23\, 24\, 28\, 29\, 30th at 2:30pm.
