The Pied Piper of Hamelin
15/12/2013 - 03/01/2014
This will be the first production to be built for our new 128 seat puppet theatre. We have been given permission from Michael Morpurgo to base the production on his version of the story. The book illustrations by Emma Chichester Clark, are the inspiration for the scenery and costumes. Northumbrian musicians "Landermason", have composed a beautiful musical score. Master storyteller Michael Morpurgo's version of this classic tale about the mysterious piper who visits Hamelin town and leaves with its children, shows that the story is as relevant now as it ever was. All Tickets £8:00 Upfront will use the usual combination of rod and string puppets for which the company are well known.
