In 1999, one year before his premature death, Tim Stead conceived a touring exhibition which focusing on the seemingly disparate worlds of furniture and sculpture, was intended to encapsulate the very essences of his practice: sculptural, pedagogical, environmental, architectural, fundamental and fun.Sadly, the exhibition was never realised and now this show, which takes its title from Timís description of himself, seeks to redress the balance.
Lynda studied textile design at the Glasgow School of Art before working in Canada followed by a teaching career on the Wirral.
Her latest body of work titled "Precious Cargo II" follows on from her very successful exhibition at the Bluecoat Display Centre in Liverpool which finished earlier this year.
The exhibition documents her travels in Nepal, Bhutan, Southern India and closer to home Mull and Iona.
Mary Ann has featured in numerous publications, TV programmes and radio broadcasts over the years.
The exhibition will include original watercolours and her new range of limited edition lithographic prints.
Mary Ann will also have some of her giftware for sale eg. bone china mugs, silk scarves, greeting cards, cufflinks, aprons etc.

Mary Ann, is an artist who is absorbed in her subject matter Ė mainly wildlife, farm and exotic animals and birds, as well as dramatic autumn landscapes.
