12th Upfront Cumbrian Artists Open Exibtion

The annual Upfront Cumbrian Artists Open Exhibition is now in its 12th year. For the first time the exhibition includes work by 3D artists as well 2D artists. The initial selection is made from photographic submissions and this continues to work well because of the large geographical area of Cumbria. This year 180 pieces of work have been selected and the images are a selection of some of the prize winning entries.
13th Upfront Cumbrian Artists Open Exhibition
A selected exhibition of 2D and 3D works by Cumbrian artists. This is the 13th year of the exhibition, established by Upfront, to promote the talent of artists living in Cumbria. The provisional selection of work is made from photographic submissions which enables a wide selection of entries from across the geographical area of Cumbria. Images below are of the prize winning finalists and the general exhibition.
Paintings by David William Morris, Tom Oldham and Jamie Oldham

The work of these three artists who are closely associated with each other, will show both differences and similarities. They include landscape and still life. Tom and David work mostly in oils and Jamie mostly in acrylic

Mary Ann exhibits every two years at Upfront. This years exhibition will showcase her new watercolour paintings and also a selection of her 2012 limited edition prints. A lifelong artist, Mary Ann exhibits her work throughout the UK, and her paintings hang in private collections all over the world. Mary Ann has featured in numerous publications, radio broadcasts and TV programmes over the years.

We look forward to another exhibition by artist, Mary Ann Rogers, who is a regular exhibitor at Upfront Gallery.
Mary Ann, is an artist who is absorbed in her subject matter – mainly wildlife, farm and exotic animals and birds, as well as dramatic autumn landscapes.
This exhibition includes some very varied paintings from recent years, and the very latest range of limited edition prints.
There will also be 2017 calendars and diaries plus cards, planners and other gift items featuring Mary Ann Rogers artwork - perfect Christmas presents!
